measurements

When measuring your child, please make sure they are standing upright, shoeless and with their back and heels flat against a wall. Use a soft tape measure and measure in cm.

Height:

Measure your child with their back flat against a wall and without shoes. Measure from the top of the head to the floor.

chest:

Measure under the arms and around the fullest part of the chest.

Waist:

Measure around the natural waistline. Where the waist folds when your child bends to the side.

Hips:

Measure around the fullest part of the buttocks.

Inside trouser leg:

Have your child stand with their feet shoulder-width apart. Measure from crotch to floor.

caps:

The head size of the little ones varies so much that we recommend buying hats based on their head size and not their age. We know our hats are often bought as gifts so please see the chart above as an approximate guide.
